The Fishy Lighthouse! Part 32

On both sides the night was one of great rest. Both Lady Chambelle and McSniff with the help of William they try to revive the old days. Memories long forgotten of a time where dogs and cats lived in harmony. The day Richard wrote his first ever story in a diary. He created this land this place with his heart and soul. 

It was his dream to create a place of harmony. Love and romance, though he never anticipated the diary, to make those who read the story a part of the writing. How a story can change when you add a hero. He always kept it a secret on how or why a hero was chosen. Though now it seems Lady Chambelle his wife knows. She read the story, s knows what happens and desires the world to be as he envisioned it. 

She is a good wife a lady who found her true love when he to got sucked in the story. His story was not of a hero though he was the one how expelled Monarch the first time round, but as a man who wanted to escape life. He did not want anymore changes but he rewrote the story to get rid of Monarch. his talents were laid bare to others a someone wanted that power. It is what brought William back. 

But before that Richard left the story, finding a way through a spell to go back and forth. The with who cursed the pages to have everything come to live in another dimension. How cats out of nowhere became to live together with dogs. She to came to that world hiding form the witch fires in her own world. 

The bigger question now for the ones sleeping and seeking to find out what has happened to their fish and their history as peace loving animals. Is if she is still alive and maybe hiding. Or could she be the cause of the the story unfolding.  

The sun is rising up colouring the sky a fiery orange and red. Shades flow into the leaving darkness, showing a trail of light piercing through a crack in the wall. Waking up lady Chambelle who is surprised to see copper out side the window already up and running behind a dragonfly. His good frisky energy makes her smile and shake up Cooky to wake up as well. just hope she will wake up anytime soon since Sir Richard has woken up to  and did not find Lady Chambelle next to him in bed. 

In the other cabin McSniff, William, Jean and the other dogs are getting ready to carry on their journey towards the Fishy Lighthouse. With the sun in their back they walk towards a cloudy horizon, not knowing what they will walk into and hoping they can solve the fish problem quick so that the Parisians won’t have to starve to much.

The Fishy Lighthouse! Part 31

We follow up on the story of Lady Chambelle and Cooky together with the rescued puppy called Copper. All this in a new part of the story I am creating. May you enjoy the read.

The Fishy Lighthouse! Part 31

As the conversations is going on between Cooky and Lady Chambelle, Copper squeezes in between them wagging his tail before laying down his head on the lap of Cynthia. The two felines look down and find themselves smiling. His fur is warm to the touch, The rough hairs are easily drawn back making the long petting motions glide with ease. It isn’t before the tail stops wiggling and Copper has his eyes closed. 

“It is strange to think Cooky that we used to live together in harmony. But my Tommy sometimes talked about the old days. The things he wrote how things changed and got rewritten without him knowing. That he would do his best to change as much back as possible, but he never had for seen the why dogs would kill cats. He often would sigh and mumble h made a mistake introducing a hero.” 

-“What are you saying Milady? Did Sir Richard create this world?” With a swing of her paw Cooky gulps down her glass, awaiting with anxious eyes for a answer. She had know Lady Chambelle for so long, knowing about the heroes of the world like William. Ancient stories of a Sheppard going mad after he lost the one he loved. There were myths about her being a cat or witch but nobody knew for sure. Sure she knew the world was created after hearing a thing or two but never that Sir Richard was part of the downfall. 

“I know Cooky it sound ridiculous, but yeah, he did and he had a thing to do about what happened. It has been nagging him for so long. But every hero that stopped by disappeared again or went rogue. But when William came back he felt relieved somehow. As if he found the hero that would make everyone’s desire come true. He doesn’t know I read his journals ever since Monarch got beaten. And I found the story of a Sheppard. A love story of a time where dogs and cats lived among each other though never mixed. He fell in love with the very first ever Hero a feline.” 

The wine splashes in the empty glasses “THE STORY IS TRUE?” Her surprise as her raise her voice and made Lady Chambele hold her paw over the mouth for that brief second, to quiet down before continuing. “So Sir was hurting? I did not know that Milady, he always seem so loving towards everyone. Never a doubt in his eyes of good faith when he is told something. After he got captured he pretty quickly got his composure back. So I didn’t know.” 

“Neither of us did Cooky.” Lady Chambelles smiles.  “Not even I noticed, but after reading I started noticing. And I want to help him. More so now that William is back to. It changed Richard as it gave him even more hope. But I am afraid t ask how or what I can do. It is why I changed as well, wanting to learn as much as I can now before the day arrives we can al live in peace again. Teaching those who grew up in fear that we can do this. Having dogs like Copper help with the kittens. We might be able to pull it off. 
My Tommy probably still carries some weight of that guilt but with th help of William our hero and our little efforts we just might change this world again.” 

Both ladies jaws fall wide open with sleep burning in their eyes. “Lets u et some sleep Cooky, it willl be long day gain tomorrow”
