Wow trying something completely new today. I am shaking like a straw in a storm, creating more streams with me sweating than the rain can do in a day. Keeping my fingers crossed over here. So bear with me.
A talk about books. And I for one am a crappy reader. That would be like 3 pages a day. But the books I am talking about here today had me captivated and even inspired me to write the past week about women including today’s post. Our paths have crossed here on WordPress and I was blessed by receiving her little gems, she published all by herself, with a warm smile and a personal touch from the author herself.
I give you
I think she rocks.
Be sure to know she is a lady with a story to tell. Hers!
And that is how it will be, start to finish. Every word you read breaths her joy and pains, smiles and tears. Filled with short stories and lovely poetry. with the emphasis on being a woman, from the woman’s perspective.
Yeah you heard me, being a woman. Does that mean men should not read it? Well if one would listen to a Ranting Crow and take his advice, than the answer is, no. Read it. Enjoy it. As it is full of smart, witty and humorous writing that can have us men smile, at how we are perceived by a woman. And vice versa.
She might have been called a feminist – after book two – for that, but from what I have read it is an insight of a smart lady who is capable of using humour to tell her experiences with men, being a woman a daughter and a mum. There is so much more she wrote on her journey to becoming the woman she is today. Through the valleys she managed to climb up the hills that laid on her path.
The stories can easily become one, to identify yourself with. And have you shed a tear when you feel some loss or smile when you know exactly what she is talking about when it comes to men trouble for example.
Guess before I continue I should start with telling you all the name of the books.
It all starts with “Wake up a Woman”.
Stories on how one is born a little girl and getting through the teenage years to become a woman. What is it like to be a young woman that grows up and struggles with what life throws at you. The temptations, the joys and sadness.
She held a mirror in front of herself through out her life and wrote down the words in all honesty. Channelling her feelings into the ink that spilled across the pages.
Poetry being a part of her writings that ooze femininity. With seemingly raw reads that read as easy as a story. In depth uncovering of what it means to be a woman and so much more.

The story: White shoulders
The poem: This is an uprising
As I spoke of three little books we come to a point to also reveal title number two.
Her second little gem is called “History of a Woman”.
It starts with a story, on how much she needs to be, a multi talented being called a woman. The stories on these pages are her very own interpretations, of stories from men about women, bring a smile to your face. To see her dive in the psyche of man who think woman and sex and adding her wicked tongue to make it a read to remember. Take it from me, a man, who is being portrait as sometimes bad influence or a little sexist.
True enough, I should maybe thank her, for teaching a thing or two about women. Straight forward is what I would call the poetry, showing women through out history and how they are looked upon.

Or as she so nicely liked to put it. “HIS-tory of a Woman”.

The story: The Check
Book number three, the last in line and I hope with some encouragement we can have her write another.
Maybe a collection of poetry or a pretty book. But that is getting ahead of things for now.
The title of the third is, “The Telling”.
Taking a trip through the mind of the women psyche. A bundle of short stories and poetry.
A simple flake of snow turning a big avalanche as she comes down a mountain. Ripping open her bony cage and laid bare her heart. It is raw to the bone. A pure and honest form of writing that everyone who would read it, is reading about themselves. The words touch you, there where they come from. Reality put in words and sometimes even in but a couple of sentences.

The story: Submisive
Surely now you wondering why a guy is talking about being a woman. This guy, a crow no less is telling what it means, or even takes to become and be a woman. He has smiled and shed a tear reading the hilarious and sometimes deeply profound stories she told. This crow already had respect for women, but after this gained even more. Maybe it is true that reading from the female perspective can become hard on men. For sure it will at least open an eye, even if it is just a tiny little bit. Or so we like to hope.
Did I not say I was hoping for more.
The last “News Flash” I can bring you is, that she is working on a new collection of her poetry that might be coming our way. It will be called Perjury. More information can be found here.
Ladies I salute you, I bow to thee who have to do so much. For us kids, yes us men are to.
For everyone, give those titles a read or visit her page right here on WordPress. You will not regret it, that I can promise you. I for one enjoy visiting her and call her my friend. She rocks in my little black book.

This was my first ever, guess I can call it a, review of some sorts.
Will there be more? Maybe. at a rate of 3 pages a day it might take a while.
Small side note. She has, like Lady Fury nominated me for a ‘Liebster Award’. More to know on the crow On the following Tuesday. Keep your eyes open.
Best Wishes
Ranting Crow.
