It is but a try of letting a heart speak free and without order. While the mind intertwines some thoughts.
Just to say they are not forgotten.
Nameless faces!
Nameless they roam
amongst us
unseen or not seen
we pass each day
faces hidden
behind layers of dirt
a man or woman
with no name
maybe hurt
sit
lay
awaiting
in silent
the cup of nickels
ringing
when heard
in corner of eyes
treated invisible
or pests.
We leave in haste
Whether by choice
or force
they hide
from heat or cold
weather or people
they are like us
treated as none
choice of freedom
seeking
finding
wanting what they have
forced by mistakes
they learn
the hard way
as rain washes
over them
They are out there
parts and member
of our community
not worth
our look
our ears
our voice
we walk passed
hiding our faces
diverting our eyes
becoming
what we fear
we become them
we are them
give them a voice
the faceless
the silent
the invisible
show them a heart.
Stand up for them
who no longer can
speak for those
who lost their faith
A nickel
a dime
a conversation
make them human
and show a world
that cares
It can make for a home
unseen
and will be received
with a smile.
that’s shown.

Putting it up there on The Reverie as the answer to this weeks Prompt.
This week Social Change and well we could do with a good dose of that.
