A Man Am I!

I sure has hell have thrown my life upside down. There is more to this piece, but this will be to each their own who reads it.

A Man Am I!

I am a man in a world
troubled by its outlook
I step through the streets
with weary eyes
evading temptations
looking away from the damned
that hide underneath
our very noses.
Blind to deaf men’s ears
I gather truths
among the lies
in hope of becoming
a man I had envisioned.
Forgive not my sins
but help me conquer
the future by teaching me right.
Protect with me the children
of our future
by taking responsibility
for every action.
Breath, live, speak
of what you want them
to be and see them grow
into men and woman
better than us.

A man am I,
Thinking over my life
surrounded by the buzz
of the busy streets
if this I can make reality.

Styx Flow!

I need to spread my wings
and learn to fly.
If I want to visit
you in heaven.
through pillars of stone
one’s final journey started.
Carried by crippled crows
we watch your vessel
taken away by Styx Flow.
The fee of liquorish and cupcakes
And candles lit to light your way
We say farewell
to a great mother,
never complaining.
A loving grandmother,
never asking.
And the rich great-grandmother.
that always held a smile.
leaving behind,
parts of the heart
synchronized to form a whole.
Waves of tears, the shores flood.
Helping you to set sail
to find your peace and lost love.
Thanking you
with great respect
and sadness.

Holding it Together!

This is truly a 15 minute old poem if one would call it that. As the ground collapsed beneath my feet and fear struck me hard and cold. Never thought I would become this upset and completely broke down wanting to hide in a dark corner. Instead I wrote this.

Holding it Together! (somehow)

I am holding on

Holding on
to what is left,

of me.

Me, a whole person
breaking up
into little pieces.

I am holding on

Holding on
to the bare strings,

of life.

Life, the puppeteer
in control
mimicking my soul.

I am holding on.

Holding on
to little memories,

of smiles.

Smiles, the laughter
wetted lips
with salty tears of sadness.

I am holding on.

Holding on
to something beyond my grasp.

Grasping squeezing
the aching chest
of a terrified heart.

I am trying to hold on.

Holding on
to the tail of time.

Time, escaping me
pausing thoughts
while growing older.

I am trying to hold on.

Somehow…

I am holding it Together.

Terror Struck!

Trembling Terror
covering the heavens
raining down the blood
of innocents.
The Hammering fist
protest with strength
hanging those to the walls
with nailing fingers
who (also) preach hatred.
Pointed to the faults,
differences of a plea
with prejudice.
Words, sharp razors
cutting the air
silencing the weak
their side
of a multiple truth.
Suffocating,
become the bloody streets
of a once free world.
we slash through
the veils of fear,
misdirection
to find back our way.
Terror for terror.
Where there should be
Love for Love.
I want to bury the hatchet
instead of the flesh
and bones.

This is just something I wanted to write. The whole issue that is staining the world is taking on crazy and large proportions and start to effect those innocents around us. I am happy to be able to talk openly and learn from friends and a lovely lady on this. Princess, I thank you.
ANd then there are also the hate crimes that should stop. We are better than this, right?

To sprint ahead with thoughts. Will you follow?

A human heart should be one of an athlete!

The simple thought behind this is that an athlete does not see colour or religion. The do not care about these things. That said, life is not a game so it is not about winning. It is about reaching out and draw out the best potential of your fellow human being.
