Monday Moaning: Among Bullies! 

It is the world we do live in, we want to hide or deny it and even try to reject it as ever happening. Bullying, hatred and racism. So this time no fun Monday picture.

Going to be moaning about the bullies. The timid, insecure that hide behind harsh words and gang up to create a sense of being strong. True that strength comes in numbers, not to mention that the ones taken in tow most the time are also afraid of its ringleader. This kind of thing has a second cause and that lies in a closer family scene. Whether it is a parent teaching wrong ideas or a teenager going against their parents and in need of an outlet.

A reason on why now is pretty simple and it is something even you can do.

Taking last Friday to do some altering on the page, I also took some time to spend in the list of people’s blog I enjoyed reading or read to come to know about the world around me and its diversity, but have been disappearing or so it seemed.

Who went missing (at least the most) are those who were given and writing under the label LGBT community. They were bloggers I read and learned a great deal from had fun with and even got to know personally on an occasion. For me having been around them for some time I came across the people who bullied them with either harsh words and the religious types.

Having seen the extremity of what was said shocked me and might have been the reason they left the blogging sphere. The other option is life, but somehow with some of them I would not think that was the reason at all.

This was someone’s neighbour, friend or even family member. Who would yell they would have her and change her mind. These words are slightly smoothened to a kinder state. Nonetheless it could well imply the thought process of the youth these days if  I used the words rape or stone them.

Latter words have a bigger impact and even shock some of you reading this.

Blogs wasn’t all about the negative as some enjoyed sharing their love for the world. Helping people who struggle with who they were, or just did fashion and make-up tips.

Smiles and laughter were a many, it is just that the few who would go as far as bully and pester the person behind the blog or even a commenter who just happened to enjoy the blog. It is one or two people making something so much fun like a hell.

But what I can’t help but think, why WE can’t just want people to be who they are.

Is it the imprint from the old days tattooed in our DNA that we can’t accept change or accept the fact that we are not equals. Does this not make you wonder why we somehow can’t embrace them as just one of us people.

And this is the world we live in, where we bully those different from us.

Not to mention we do it cowardly, anonymous through the internet. With phones tablets and all the other likes to become a storming wave and sweep across the pages with an intent to kill and create fear.

What is with the hostility we have against those who live lives that are seems as far from normal.

It comes back to labelling people with all kinds of words and excuse yourself to be the most normal of them all. Hiding behind pretences and some mistaken assumptions. Seeking out people who either don’t dare to oppose you or just think the same to gang up the few you set your target on.

This is just one example of people who had gone missing from my list of friends. They are the very few who stopped what they love due to a single person or even entire communities.

Because of this I am also in need of apologizing to the LGBT community. That I used the hatred and dislikes against them to write this post. While I stand behind them it might also light a fire among the people who dislike them.

My intention is not to start a war but to change our way of thinking. After all this is the world we all live in and any one of us is a bully and it should stop here with us.

I seen the blood being spilled, whether it was cause by fights or the suicides of the ones who could not bare to live another day. I stood helplessly with my hands tied, not knowing what to say or do. Never again, though I can’t be certain, do I want to stand where I stood and see those I care about be taken away. Neither will I stand still and do my best standing up and extending my hand in the hope one day, it will change.

Danger of children running around with guns is already bigger than we like to admit. There is someone who is talking about building walls just to stop a group of people. Other time there is a trial for a person who said “less, less, less” about a select few of people.

From where did all this hatred come from. To what extend does one justify themself to keep bullying.

They are not inferior from us they just have a different kind of life.

And as I say this it will mean that should be acceptance from broth sides. If I reach out my hand I hope it won’t get cut off or slapped away.

I will leave you with that today. Teach me, tell me with your own thoughts what I should know. Or maybe what your stand is in this.

Going back to my parents that laid sick since the weekend.

Bullying Values!

Bullying Values, a title that makes you wonder and think. Do we bully values or have values for bullying.

Now more and more we hear of bullying but why is it so exponentially growing. What could be the cause that more people, children are being bullied. And what can be done to prevent it from happening. Is it something we can prevent.

It obviously start at home with teaching children values. But the norm for normal is different in every household, how can we teach a child any value if it differs so much. There is more to teach them but how can we if we have been taught the same difference in values.

Do parents know values of normal

Bullying is done for differences in poor or rich, or what your child wears, or how they look in general. But who says what is normal and what is not. Who says that being different is weird and should be teased. Now we parents tent to shove lots of that responsibility to the schools. They are after all the institute that teaches everything. All the way up to sex education even, on some schools. But is that right.

Now more schools say tat parents should help more fight of bullying. But the big question than is how. I been brought up to stand up for myself. Not take bullshit from any one. And bullies are just afraid. I turned out to be bullying as well at some point, for what reason I cannot even remember. But okay parents should help out more.

Speak to the one being bullied. Uh, now what to say. It is okay, they are just words. Wait we all know that it does not work that way. We all know that when something is repeatedly told you start believing it yourself. And they usually stand alone against an army of 2 or more. How can a parent help there telling about values, these children know better than any one how it works. And how is a parent going to stop the bullying online. All it takes is an anonymous account. And knowing the mail of the one being bullied.

Makes you wonder what we have been coming to, to allow these things. As if we have not learned anything from our own time in school. Watching bullies, being bullied or being the bully.

But school want parents to interact more and help. So can we help the bullies. Well yes we can if they are being taught the proper values. But how stupid do we look when we see rich kids who have it all bullying because their values are perfect and always pristine. Or the bullies that bully because they are bullied by parents themselves to be stronger, not so weak. How can we ask those parents to talk to their children. They either have no time or everything goes through a maid of some sort, or being drilled by an officer or higher-up of a company. Or maybe parents who are more of a lower class. Always having to fight to get what they want telling their children life is hard so you need to toughen up. If you cannot learn as well you need to fight and work harder.

These are of course two extremes, but it shows the difference in values the best. It is about teaching respect and ’Normal’ values, what ever normal may be, since we do not know what that is ourselves. But what parent should help what child. Or should parents come to school and take over a class about bullying, teaching respect and values.

We need to keep smiling and help those around.

But I know that a parent being an astronaut is better than having a parent who cleans sewers.
Somehow they always find something to bully about. Where have we gone wrong. Is the difference so big between people. Are we all living in our own little bubbles, unaware of everyone else’s situation and value of normal.
Should we not work together as ONE.

Now understand I do not have a degree in psychology or anything else. This is my thoughts on the situation, and I would love to hear from you as well. Did I get something wrong please tell me.
Speak up please, Are you a bully tell us why? Are you being bullied teach us how to understand more. If you watch jump in for a change and STOP it.
