So what was I going today. Well I did have an idea but that got changed.
Because of news that reached my ears and making me really angry. It makes you wonder how they could do things like that. How easy they think it is to manipulate us with what is shown. It is horrible to see one thing and knowing the truth. It does make you think.
I see the media as a magician. And very good one at that. Because we all do fall for their trickery. It doesn’t help that we sometimes take things for granted. And just go with the “what ever” kind of attitude through life.
They are fantastic in creating an elephant out of a mosquito. And blowing something up to such proportions it is all we think about. While in the mean time a smaller but more important item is squeezed in like a little mouse. That goes unnoticed.
Have we gone immune to the news or are we hearing so much war and bombings we do not hear the news about more camera’s or more ways to listen in on email conversations or phone calls. That we do not hear a western country has 1 in 40 households who cannot pay bills or food.
Have we gone so blind because there is now to much media around us. On our phones, tablets, laptops and computers and soon even in cars. Things that tell us what we want to hear controlled by media companies. Are we still even able to look past all that is told to us. Are we able to find our own answers in a mace that is called ‘the media network’.
What is shown isn’t always true. It is ether blown up to make it look worse. Or to make it look less important. Most shown is the war in Syria. Why spend hours on an interview with Assad who clearly does not want to take responsibility for even having chemical weapons stored in his country in the first place and demands America or UN to pay for cleaning and disposing of chemical waste. Why are we even discussing about spending money on that. Sending troops yes or no, helping clean yes or no. But what we going to do about the immense size of debt this country has. What to do about the ever growing unemployment. Medicines that insurance companies do not want to pay for. Abracadabra.
Now here where I live it does show. We talk about it among friends, quietly while having a cup of coffee. But soon as you ask to speak up they all run scared with tales between the legs.
We all wonder how an insurance agent can tell what medicine is good or you. Speak up.
Sorry I will pay for it myself thank you. WTF.
Have we gone so scared to speak up and act on our own words said.
To give up even before trying. If 39 households could spend one dollar and a cup of rice a month. And give that to the one household that needs to feed some children. They have a month worth of tinned veggies and rice. If my calculations are right.
I try my hardest to help where I can how I can. A plate of food I made to much is a meal for someone who needs it.
Just a incoherent rant from my part. But my head is overflowing and have to much I want to get of my chest. Chaos theory in motion. Does it make any sense.
Getting some air and clear my mind, want to get a new chapter on the other page Ben-toes tonight.
Best wishes
