Detective McDougal! Part Ventidue
Jerry is passed out and taken into a world with distorted memories and dreams that come together. Sounds of agony crosses his lips. Around the glowing marks the water was already gone made room for a drop of sweat.
Susan doesn’t think twice and holds her hand against the part of the skin where the bullet went right through. Sitting over him she looks and can see his pain formed in the wrinkles on his head. In the air between the hands and back small sparks connect the two together and she start a chant. Her mind is clouded and not before long she can see what Jerry is seeing.
His dream, his distorted memory. The moment he got pierced as he was trying to turn away. The very same reason the bullet went through his heart and out at the back of his spine. But now it was not a bullet. It was a golden spear held by her sister. She been there before at that very moment in her own apartment. She watched him fall down infront of her feet, leaving stains of blood n the dress she was wearing.
The expression on her face changes as she sees something she never knew he would have seen. Could it be h forgot that memory, will he think this is all a dream. The bolt of lightning Susan discharged at her sister who escaped due to a jump behind the piano and the run for the door. She wasn’t meant to but her anger took a different form that very moment. Does he know? She closes her eyes even more straining her self to see a it further into his mind. He wasn’t dead yet, he knows.
He seen her change just the same. How her face showed pure rage and hairs turned grey. And only just before calming down turning back to her natural colour. Tears roll across her cheeks and fall onto his face. His eyes staring up. But in his mind it is mistaken by rain on a dark night. Her face blurred to him like a silvery moon.
All his memories are of ancient times mixed with what happened not so long ago.
The connection is abruptly broken due to a phone that rings beside their bed. With a little dizziness she picks up the phone and hears Pingui on the other side.
-“I know it is kinda early but like could you be ready in an hour, My girly wants you to come over and make Jerry bear breakfast.”
Susan pulls her self together and traces the wounds and the marks. “Is it that time already, I am sorry Pingui. Just waking up here. Yeah sure we be ready.”
-“Oh Susan right. I thought…. never mind it is okay, Jerry knows the place. See you than.’
With a deep sigh of exhaustion she rests her body against jerry, who is also has his eyes opened.
“Good morning, Susan. Who was that on the phone?” Jerry smiles her jealous look as she tried tot ell him who phoned them up.
-“It was Pingui she invited us over to her friends place for some breakfast. In an hour.”
“Is it that time already.. All I remember was having a shower and you showing up. How did I end up in bed?”
