Dreams
gathered
little fantasies
of this girl
I seen.

Cradled
in a hand

I am lost
in the days
I have lived
so long ago
fathers
worried
expectations
for this girl
to grow

Smiling
innocence

I am lost
in the happiness
of the nights
you’d wept
hearts
silenced
before the sun
of the girl
who slept

Screaming
pain and sadness

I am lost
in nightmares
to keep me
awake at night
my hands
that carried
her one last time.
My little angel
taking flight.

Fallen
in silence and darkness

I am lost
in thoughts
of what could
have been.
Emptiness
of where was a heart
with tears
washing away
the smiles.

Hiding in corners
from the world.

I am Lost
In thoughts
missing you!
