Kingdom of Crestoria! 26
The walk to the harbour was but a short one. The main street with food stalls and knick-knack was left behind us and in front we saw a large balloon doom up from behind a building. While we were closing in you were able to see more distinctive difference than your previous observations.
Its size was enormous and not made of hot air in a single skin. The wing was compacted with large balloons kept together by a woven area of ropes that led to the ship. This sight was amazing, looking up while walking on the open stairs getting ever bigger in our view. With eyes stared up walking the long bridge was as if you dwelled inside a cathedral with all the ropes lined up above you with a certain tension. Small slats of wood were braced on top of its outline.
Majestic was how it felt when I set food inside this ship.
Swift glare around me revealed that Grub wasn’t here any more and the Princess was looking bored and annoyed back at me.
“Seriously we are here to safe the world and your sightseeing.” Her hands were pushed in her hips and her chest pushed forward before turning around with a deep ‘Hmmpf’.
-“I am sorry Adelina. I never seen anything like this before.” I watch over her head and see another ship passing by along the other side of the deck. “Adelina is that from the main…”
“STOP I right there. You’re my lackey and can not call me by my name. Princess if you will. SIgh. I will settle for miss, from now on”
In my mind I smiled. Clearly she had notice the glares and stares from others who were getting aboard to return to the main land. Voices mumbled and whispered with clear hisses and guesses on why the princess would be on board. Cranes creaked and squeaked with the heavy loads, drawing my attention. With a few steps I was back at the rail and looking down how baggage were pushed from a platform that was attached t the building.
“Hey are you coming it will be a day long journey so let us get settled and I am hungry.”
Clearly she wanted to eat and did not want to wait any longer for Duncan. But just as he was about to turn his head to get his bite, he saw what looked to be a strange figure sneak between the crates and bags towards the cargo hold of this ship. But after a blink of his eyes to adjust the distance it had disappeared.
He shook his head as if he had mistaken himself and walked up to the princess who was again tapping her shoes on the wooden floor. Arms crossed her chest looked even bigger. More heavily he shook his head and bowed quickly in front of her. “Sorry”
Her hand swept through the air hitting me on the shoulder. “Next time don’t make me wait.”
Guess he got away with that one.
