Kingdom of Crestoria! 25
Our princess pointed straight ahead into the busy street. “This main road connects the palace with the harbour. We might be a palace at the edge of this floating island we are very keen to have our subjects close to us. They provide us with food they worked so hard for and it helps them in trading with different parts of the main land. Creating a mixture of village members from all over.”
Duncan just looked around with his ears listening to the princess’ story. “Wow it is like an International trade centre.”
“I have no idea what you are talking about.” Eyes gazed back at Duncan. Her attitude was just as ever, as she bushed her air in the wind to fall back over her shoulder.
Just as she is about to turn around with a boat load of air lifting her chin, Duncan stretches out his hand fully open. “Watch out Adelin…”
Her face vanished in a dirty shirt worn by a plump member of this country. A pair of mocking eyes peered over a large junk of meat held in a strong arm. *Grunt*
“What you doing there Missy, Like me that much” The pig face snorted and tok another bite from the chunky bone. Ripping away a shred of meat.
The princess on the other and was furious. With fire in her eyes she looked up at the one in front of her. Strands of hair danced like flames back and forth. Her heat was spreading and had many of the passer-by’s taken a step back. Even this large pig started to look troubled as he look closer to the little lady in front of him. “I am So sorry Princess. I didn’t se…”
“Can you not look where you are going. You happen to act the way you look. WATCH where you are going pig…”
Duncan interrupted the princess’ outbreak with a calm hand on her shoulder.
He wasn’t sure if it was the right thing to do, or even if he would revert her wrath towards himself. In any way he had to do what he thought was right. And calmly bring her back to her spoiled self. HIs eyes glanced across the anger raging around her eyes, and just spoke in a calm voice. “Princess please calm down, this is not the time or place. I tried to warn you, but I was to late. Can we move on with or journey so that you may save us all”
The red hair calmed down and fell across her shoulders once more. Eyes cleared up and returned to shine like before.
“You are so right, I am out to save everyone. Move out of my way so we may continue.” Spoiled arrogant as ever she waved her hand through the air and watch the big pig step aside in fear of more repercussions.
It wasn’t until Duncan walk in front of him that he bowed down and clapped his hand together in thanks.
Grub and Duncan smiled a little warped knowing full well it was just pure luck she changed back and in such short time.
