I came across this quote by Oscar Wilde.
The basis of optimism is sheer terror.
Soon as I read it my mind was flooded with thoughts. To say optimism is born terror as it can always be better. But terror is also the same thing that drive optimism into the ground. Terror should not be basis of the optimism we one day may live together in peace. It should be the way we live permanently being optimistic tomorrow will be the same.
