Friday’s Favourites is all about some of my own favourite writings and a little back story on the posts it self.
I am not someone who can recite the things I wrote, as most are or were written in the spur of the moment. Reading how ever is a different story and on occasion I am reminded of my past writings by those who inspire me. Not considering myself to be a great poetry writer, I do give it a shot here and there. It is mostly this that gave me an idea to revisit old posts.
Since I have created 4 categories inside the Poetry Library I call, The Crow’s Blood Spills I will spend a couple of Fridays revisiting each and every one of them and select a few of my favourites. It is not a top 5 as I can’t say which I love the most. They are all part of me.
First Category is Writers Fantasy
Art of women! : It was created as an ode to women and the art that they are. I know it is very objectifying to say they are art, but beauty is something to look at whether seen by the eyes or the heart. Loving women I wrote this also with a slight Dominant inside me. Women inspire me.
A Muse in Red!: Was born from an idea in the TV series ‘The following’. The darkness of this piece might be lurking in the fact that the writing is about a muse coming to life only to become the image I am writing about. If you like to see the episode that inspired me check out season 2 ep. 1
Writer’s Ballerina: I had this image that spoke to me and it made me want to write. I waited for the perfect feeling that melted my heart and soul together and gave off the right feeling for me to just start writing. The result is as is about the writer’s pen dancing to the music of his imagination.
Fluttering in Silence!: It is poetry born from a prompt. I guess I tried to say that silence has a devastating impact when you are left behind alone. Silence is not always peaceful. Sometimes it wants to be heard or needs to be heard and often enough it also needs to be broken.
Words Unknown!: A title can say many things and as someone who tries to write can sometimes not find the words or it has to do with not being in the right mood. This when I wrote this. Finding words i wanted to say and ending up with poetry.
For more of my poetry, check out the Crow’s Blood Spills at the top of the page. Each picture will take you deeper in side heart.
Best Wishes

Ps Next year I an going to try and do so with a blogger I follow. It will involve some question, won’t call it an interview. Ooh well it is a plan.
