This is very much a provoking one.
We fear the living more than the dying!
I honestly would like to hear your take on this before I even give you my own idea behind this thought. It might not be as hard as one thinks and in these days it is also confronting, but maybe it is good to do so. More than one way to look at this, please share your thought.
i get this. life is terrifying. i just wrote a post about that very thing. xo
You are a beautiful person sharing this with us.
And true life can be terrifying. It is one way of looking at this.
I read your post and can relate. Big hugs Love and again thank you for sharing your thoughts.
It is scary truly living. I am learning that living authentically, being seen and vulnerable is a huge part. I can see why people fear it; rejection, abandonment, and shame all are risks. Is it worth it? That I can’t answer yet… Just off the cuff because you asked. Nice, thought-provoking question…. 🙂
I am very happy you are willing to share your thoughts on the the thought of the day.
Whether it is worth it.is something only one person can answer. And maybe we should look at it per day. And every day has something that made it worth. But that would be me.
What is interesting you would mention the rejection and shame for instance.
Again thank you for taking the time to write down your thoughts, I enjoy hearing ideas as the help me grow, or so i hope.
It is amazing isn’t it. And did you read the thought of the 17th as well.
I said here that we fear the living more than dying.
What I meant with this is that we started to fear those people who are alive. As Crystal mentioned it may have something to do with us fearing rejection of or the judgement of the living. And we might be so scared of them we find it easier to kill them, wish them dead. And in last place with what Happened in France again made us fear those who are alive and killing, so much so we want them dead.
For the two ladies who shared their thoughts, I thank you.
