Kingdom Of Crestoria!
It is where I also noticed the mark on my arm, taking complete focus of the princess as I eyes every curve and traced the lines that felt carved inside my skin. The shape resembles a mix of animals. A crocodiles head and a turtle shell is what I can make out of the image. My mind dwelled of with a voice in the background, to the moment I first woke up. “My head still hurts”
Her sound wave blew me over to the back of this prison. My body slammed into the wall like a ragdoll thrown in a tantrum of a little child.
I was just recovering from an most likely earlier blow and now this.
“Ouch…, damn…, that does hurt” I crawl back up with a hand supported on the slippery wall. My other pushed in to my thigh as I stretch my leg to get back up. In front of me a princess stands infuriated with her wings back wide open. Feathers flutter like small butterflies through the cell.
What did I do?’ Holding the side of my body I walk back up to the two outside my little confinement space. I watch her eyes turn back to the bright blue and wings folded back behind her.Guess I did something to piss her off. Her head turns away from me with her eyes squinted and staring down to my arm.
“Grub he is a small fry, but he bears the mark of the hero in the legends. Crowl Turfox”
I have no idea what they are talking about. In my head I try to replicate the sounds I just heard and confuse myself even more.
“Open the door Grub.” Her face turns back to me and face me calmed and composed. “Duncan Nabal” I could hear my name said in a anxious and embarrassing way. Her gentle looking claws squeezed into her dress.
“That is me, Duncan Nabal!” And slap myself on chest. With a cough I bend over, still felt the pain that wall caused me. With my eyes looking down to my sneakers I hear the keys rattle and a lock being unlocked.
When I looked back up I saw the bars had vanished from my sight and the little man waving at me as he walked away to follow behind the princess.
With small steps and unsure if it was okay, I slowly gathered up speed and caught up with the two strange beings. Looking past the shiny head I saw the princess dress gracefully hovering across the floor. Her back held two small wings. ‘Who would have thought she could make them so big’
As if she felt me staring at her she turns her head around with her fierce look.
I diverted my views to the long hallways. Each door we passed revealed a lighter area. A different feel going from cold and dark stone bricks and torches to warm wood with lanterns and lots of doors.Through one of the doors left open I could see bunk beds and a armour laying around. With someone polishing a helmet.
Who would belief me if I said anything like this. They would think I read or watched to much fantasy book. But that is not right is it. The pain I felt was real, and I did not wake up as if it was a nightmare. “What is this place?”
