Okay continuing the story I started some time ago. First part can be found clicking HERE. Will open in new tab or window. Just the imagination running wild and writing it down. Enjoy the read.
Lost Arrival! Glitch 2
It all started a couple of days ago. The skies were fry red and streaks of bright light were cutting through. Reporters called it a meteor shower though they couldn’t have been more wrong.
Dave was minding his own business while the radio was on and screams came flooding through the speaker about the skies being lit up. He didn’t have to be where he was, but he figured he would say longer that day to finish the wiring of a great project involving robotics. Nothing fancy, jut a robot to cut in in three dimensions only small enough to use at home.
As his work prolonged and he was staring down the arm with the small wires he had the shock of his life.
All windows were shattered while the building trembled n its foundations. Throwing Dave of his chair and on the floor. Cracks in the walls were forming and made Dave aware he had to get out of there. But his legs couldn’t move. They were shaking soon as he laid his eyes on the figure standing in front of him.
“K geb le xefd …” Dave’s eyes give the woman in front of him a clue he wasn’t understanding what she was saying.
She waved a loose arm in front of spraying some blood across Dave’s doctors coat. A finger pointed at Dave and than directs to her own shoulder..
“Damn it why did you had to get shot… and what did I shoot at? You want me to fix you I guess but I do not even know how. What the fuck is going on…”
Dave is frustrated and stares down at the woman lying on the floor, “I won’t get any answer from you right now and by the looks of things you are still alive if we can call it that. Not sure why but here goes. Sorry f this hurts…”
His hands lay the area open, as he pulls the wires along the side of the wound and tugs them underneath her suit.It gives a clear view of the cube that has been smashed and crumbled. The shape is that of a battery with three connection points. A broken cylindrical shaped piece of glass has been shattered but was housed inside this cube.
A red tainted liquid is stuck to some of the shards still imbedded inside. His brain is excited about what he is seeing. This is a man-made machine. Wires and tubes all look like hey came from this world, but who would have invented this. Nobody ever published a paper about this sophisticated robotics. Dave being a great mind who introduced micro robotics with wires that were only a tenth of the usual width.
“Could that be the reason you busted into my laboratory… no no, I can’t think that just a coincidence it has to be.” With a simple click of a lever inside her body the cube came loose and was no in the hands of Dave. “Now what, I though it would be a good idea to come here but now I am not so sure I should have left the lab.”
