The Fishy Lighthouse! Part 29

“The story is an old one… “Jean continues with a deep sigh “I just hope I am telling it right. Though it might be something imprinted in our memories, as you might know now William. But let us see…” 

“Many a years a go this world was a lot more peaceful, Cats living with dogs and helping each other. we dogs would swim with nets to catch fish, and even dug the tunnels. The cats would help us stalk and hunt. Some great heads came together making sure fish and meat was distributed across the land. And even past our borders.  

That was until a Sheppard showed up, who was intoxicated with power and love for a cat. Surely one would say it was impossible but they did not want to hear of it. They hit for some time until they were betrayed by a cat. But not a cat would go near them or put a wedge in between their happiness. They turned their heads, raised their tails and walked on. Therefore it was thought it was one of the first Heroes who done it. 

Being it a mystery as it may, as we never thought a Hero would just show up. Even today some great thinkers are trying to figure out why he/she was brought here as later we learned they never would show up if there wasn’t a need for help. 

It were some small dogs who got to the little house and had a go at the cat when the Sheppard was out into the woods. The tiny bites had him think she was attacked by cats and thus declared a war. He was able to rally up loads of dogs by saying cats were food and could be caught with ease as there was so many. No more starving or working for them. Cats were lazy and all that. 

He got his wish and so the fight started, cats ran of living in several places but the biggest is Paris. Walls are protecting you from the dogs. We are on the other hand dogs who liked the old days. But we are not getting any younger.”

“The rumour has it that the cat didn’t die and became a known witch form other stories. The Sheppard is a vicious dog not afraid of anyone and attacks with out warning. Some say he is dying but there isn’t any conformation coming from the front. You might say the break down of the tunnel is his or his followers doing. But we cannot be sure all we know is that the tunnel collapsed and we wanted to warn you.  

lets us help you find your way to the collapsed tunnel and lighthouse. Just be warned that at the lighthouse there is a strange mist hiding it from sight. Some of us have tried entering and find it by using their nose but for some reason we can’t smell anything in there. It has become a dangerous place we haven’t heard from any of them in there. 

It is all very strange and we hope that one day we can solve the mysteries and go back living a peaceful life.”
