This week without a picture as time has not been on my side.
The Fishy Lighthouse! 28
“My apologies indeed, it is sorry to see one of our own go. As said t was not intended to harm anyone. May I ask who you might be?”
William dusts of his clothes and see some dogs carry there fallen comrade out the door leaving Jean Pierre and one other dog behind. With a stare into the dogs eyes and a slight anger he answers. “The name is William, William Bonneville and this is not the kind f welcome I expected”
“Wait you are William Bonneville, the last hero, or so we were told. Then you must be McSniff the greatest cat ever lived. This is indeed a great privilege and a honour gentlecats.” Jean Pierre and the other dog show a face full of joy and smiles, showing of their teeth but with no murderess intent behind them. eyes frolicking back and forth as the paws reach and grab for a thorough shaking.
The other dog started mumbling with his tongue constantly slobbering away the drool. the flat nose making his breathing wheezy. At some moment even a single teeth was showing over his lip.” Pardon me sir, for not mentioning my name before yours, the name is George Hickory, at your service”
Jean Pierre continues to talk, “It is a pleasure and now we know why on of us had to pass, we were dealing with a hero and the greatest cat who lives today. I am sorry again we were waiting for the smoke to come from the chimney. I learned from this place from my father who helped dig the tunnel. We know about the lighthouse incident, that makes sure there is no fish going to Paris. I was stupid to be even involved and now I am trying to make amends, being more like my late father was.”
The door opens up and dog says something to Bordeaux, making him nod and see the dog walk out the small cabin again. “Well seems we are all is save. So yes we know and the plan we had was to warn the cats who would have come here. But why send you?”
-“Please jean Pierre is fine or Jean or even Pierre.”
McSniff continues “very well Jean Pierre, we came here as we assumed this was not just a small incident. And there aren’t man cats fearless of water. So they send us to solve the mystery of the lighthouse and the disappearing fish.”
“Let us help you take back the lighthouse as it has been run over by some dogs who have always opposed to have this river of fish run through dog territory. It makes you wish like it was on those photos here and the stories my dad used to tell. Of cats and Dogs living in peace. And all because of a religious Sheppard it went to hell.”
“Can you tell us who is behind all this?” The question is thrown in to the group by William, with a confident face and paws digging into the small armrest.
Untll next week where we hear and see more of McSniff and this Lighthouse mystery.
