A place is silence
Is (also) where we begin
First sounds exploding
beats of a heart
breaking through silence
Familiarity growing
bathing in tranquillity
a seed worth sowing
Ear deafening
the sounds in white light
screams with cold echo
in topsy-turvy world
Turning quiet
held against soothing thumbs
Music a sound
of a different kind
coming together
in harmony
created with effortless flow
life’s colours
fluttering around us
Silent days the past
forgotten its tunes
about warm serenity
we seek stillness
within busy cities
for a pacified future
Grateful we lived
minds full of soul
final hours we listen
to the quiet sounds
of own beating heart
till we can rest forever
at the end we find
a place in silence.

This poem was born from a prompt at The Reverie. Welcome to the journey. Not sure where I was going with this, just wrote whatever came to mind. When it comes to silence I already wrote about a couple as silence can be so many. A prompt once done was Fluttering Silence one of most deafening sounds, and I had Silent Serenade about a loss.
Silence can be music to the ears.
Best Wishes

Nicely done and really clever how you used different poems to inspire this one. When I read it I did feel like it was taking me on a journey. Way to go. Also if you don’t mind check mines out and tell me what you think.

Life is a journey we experience so much but never truly remember the tranquil beginning of the journey as we never know how it will end though may find tranquil silence.
I thank you so much for the comment and I will most certainly check out yours.
Awesome!
