I am sorry there is no McSniff today, I was unable to flip a switch and get in the McSniff mood on top of that time was not my side either.
But I would not be the Crow if I had something up my sleeve. I will share with you a poem I wrote yesterday to answer to a prompt at Giorgethomas.com. The exact link to the prompt is the following LINK.

The Guarding Door!
Hung up
strung together
with iron bars.
Build with a lock
in to your warm
wooden core.
Set in stone
embraced by rocks
delved and carved
from meadows
holding secrets
to which you lead.
Small I feel
stand in awe before
suffering titan
strengthened
to hide the pan
with beaten nails
Built to serve
keep the nosey out
One can only imagine.
what emotions
may be the key
to unlock your truths.
Enduring silence
deteriorating slowly
within corroding weather
performing the task
given a long time ago
To protect another world

Thank you for reading and may it help imagine that behind every door lies a world of fantasy.

Gosh, that’s beautiful! Haunting, too. Thanks for participating!
It was a pleasure Missy, hope it will inspire you to let your imagination go wild on more doors. Who knows what lies behind the door with bubbling paint or scratched with nails.
