Fluttering In Silence.

Why is there your silence
roaring across the oceans
creating waves
on the seas
so high

Drowning in sorrow
you crash on the lands

Why is there your silence
Bouncing around the streets
overpowering
the horns
and voices

There’s shame in pain
to be heard in echoes

Why is there your silence
hidden behind your tears
snickering
in the corners
of shadow

Scream or cry
Talk or sigh
Crack the heart open.
The present
is not your past

Why is there your silence
Shattering a voiceless heart
deafening
are the sounds
of a fluttering Angel.
Leaving,
You behind.
In silence.
