Silent Serenade
Some songs
Cannot be sung
So I sing
My serenade
In silence
A melody of tears
filled with pain
from the heart
Long lost memories
not forgotten or purged
they stream relentless
My song,
Sang in silence,
I still sing.
My serenade,
For you.
Internal screams
stirring in my soul
embedding the past
etching the pictures
of a time once lived
Echoing continuously
Some songs
Cannot be sung
So I sing
My serenade
In silence
Shards try beating
to sooth the aches
of a broken heart
Mending stitches
of piercing emotions
Dripping crimson ink
Writing,
My song.
My Serenade.
I sing in silence.
For you.
For you, I have.
You,
I have lost.

This poem was written straight after Heart Ship! Entry 31. As the tears were still flowing I tried to express my feelings and created this piece. I do not know how it came across as I tried to keep a positive flow.
This is my heart song.
We who have lost sing in silence. As they live on in silence, one heartbeat at a time. May they forever be remembered.
Best Wishes

Bittersweet words packed with emotion. Love the word placement and how it creates a new shape.
