Increasing Confusion by Dan Scott
Words unknown!
Letters make words
In their special order
Words create sentence
mixed the right way
sentences build stories
one by one they’re added
stories visualize images
forming ones dreams
Dreams withheld telling
as the story is a mess
with random sentences
where words do not match
and letters are not many
This picture tells more
than a thousand words
I do not know to express
If words can make dreams
why can I not express
with unknown words
Why can my images
not tell me the story
I seek in the sentences
made of letters created words
I somehow do not know
Pictures tell more
than a thousand words
though mine is scrambled
just like my sentences
Where letters make
the words unknown.

Poetry written on chaotic day after a chaotic night, unable to find words for thoughts over flowing the brain. At the same time wondering about where language came from or how it was formed to make sense.
Best wishes

I love this insight into your creativity!
It is a mess ha ha but somehow working out.
Thank you Miss Thomas. For your lovely comment. always a pleasure to have you stop at my nest.
Sometimes the words may not make sense to our brains, but if they pour forth from you soul then their existence has a purpose — even if we are unable to embrace the meaning at that moment. Often, others can derive meaning from those senseless letters/words/sentences/dreams and can help us see the light.
Confusion all around when words come in to play but we make it work some how.
Thank you for an insightful comment Desiree. it is a pleasure having you here
I’ve been looking forward to reading this. It’s fantastic especially with a coffee and hot cross bun 🙂
Ha ha well glad you liked it. a bit of tweaking made it to what it is today.
Everything is better with coffee at hand.
I have been helping a writer translate his native tongue to English…this really says it all, RC.
I know how he feels My English isn’t Native either.
But nice of you to help them. 😀 thank you heartafire
